About Us

Supporting Professionals. Strengthening Recovery.

The Professionals Platform convenes Class A Trustees of Alcoholics Anonymous alongside cross-sector leaders who support individuals with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). It creates a space to inform and explore, strengthening and advancing effective approaches to identification and support.

Many of us are professionals ourselves or were guided to recovery through professional referral.

We recognize the critical role of professionals across systems and settings, including:

  • Workplace & Organizational Leaders — human resources professionals, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers, and C-suite leaders, directors, and managers
  • Healthcare & Behavioral Health — healthcare providers, behavioral health practitioners, and social workers
  • Public Safety & First Response — fire, police, and other frontline professionals
  • Legal & Justice Systems — legal, judicial, corrections, probation, and reentry professionals
  • Education & Community Institutions — university and higher education administrators, faculty, student support services, and nonprofit and community-based organization leaders

This platform provides a forum to learn, listen, and share practical approaches that support professionals on the front lines of recovery.
